This page uses the non standard property “zoom”. Many of the alert errors are repeated, here is what I saw: An iframe which has both allow-scripts and allow-same-origin for its sandbox attribute can remove its sandboxing. No menu item missing, no menu items marked in red. I am not sure if saving to the database is required for changes to appear in the Customzier preview window before “publish” is clicked, but… if the database is not required for the Customizer to show changes before saving, then it is the Theme causing the issue since the customizer is the same when the theme was changed in my tests.

This includes working with Elementor, other tabs opened Elementor editor windows in the browser tabs were not affected when the Customizer tab work area locks up or lags. There was no lag and no locking up becoming non-responsive. I had other tabs open working the various pages of the website using OceanWP theme and they were not affected by either of the above issues. This is one indication that the issue is not a browser issue, it is a theme issue. I deactivated all other plugins and even purged the cache of the website and the browser, issue #2 remains a problem. I can make changes using the browser inspector for the page, but in the Customizer, settings are not taking affect, even when saving the change and refreshing the page. This issue #2 sometimes goes away, temporarily, and all settings work, then suddenly the issue returns and remains for a long time. This occurs in all of the above browsers.Ī few settings, like changing the default font family works fine, but other settings as Font weight, Font size (typography), line-height, colors, etc, have no impact when making changes. This issue #2 is the Customizer settings having no affect when changes are made. I think this lag and lock as something to do with, or part of issue #2. This locking does not occur in other browsers, but the lag does. Eventually it unlocks and I can continue working with some lag occurring, meaning it is not responding quickly like it should. I place the cursor into a field box to make a change, such as pixel size, and the customizer stops responding locking itself up for several minutes. The lagging & locking occurs mostly in Firefox, even when it is in Safe Mode. I have tested this in several browsers, Firefox, WaterFox, Chrome and Opera.
